About the Role
Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, a Care Options for Kids Company, is looking to hire a full-time school nurse for West Milford High School. This position is a 6-month contract starting January 2nd and ending June 30th. The children’s needs include but is not limited to diabetes management, first aid care, asthma treatments, Epi-pen, seizures, allergic reactions, bruises, cuts, andfevers.

Responsibilities of Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Providing nursing care in a school environment
- Taking direction from the clinical team and being overseen by a registered nurse
- Following the plan of care
- Following all clinical and office policies and procedures
Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Valid New Jersey RN License or Multistate License
- Physical from within three years
- PPD or Chest X-Ray
- Valid BLS CPR card (obtained in person not online)
- Valid driver's license
- G-tube, trach, vent experience or willing to train

*Bonus for eligible cases only. The eligible employee will receive $500 after 500 billable hours worked. Eligible employees must complete the pre-onboarding process within 10 days of submission of the initial application. Valid for first-time employees only and on completion of all required documents. Parents and/or Guardians of a current or potential Preferred Home Health Care, a Care Options for Kids client are not eligible to receive a bonus.
