What You Will Do:
As a Mechanical Applications Engineer you will provide technical, commercial and pricing support to Field Sales personnel and customers worldwide for the AcuAir product line. This position provides a resource for crafting unit designs, quotations, and initiating and managing orders. The role will include applying specific product knowledge into different manufacturing facilities and reaching psychometric needs per specifications. The role will involve minimal travel to client sites to collect technical specifications, developing new designs and pricing for custom builds.
How You Will Do It:
Provides equipment selections and other refrigeration system design support.
Assists with securing equipment orders with accurate equipment description cost and selling price.
Provides direction and support to manufacturing and sales personnel on technical matters.
Translating customer requirements into Frick Refrigeration Systems paperwork for submission of orders and follow-up on those orders.
Work with Frick Refrigeration Systems home office to establish pricing and information where required.
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering is preferred, but an associate degree or other technical degree plus related experience will be considered.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales engineering/support role.
Candidate should have good working knowledge of industrial refrigeration equipment and industrial refrigeration systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Internet software and E-mail.
