Gifted Requirements

A minimum of 1 year as an Ultrasound Techwith recent experience in the specialty.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ultrasound Techsperform all requested clinical assessments and diagnostic sonography examinations as ordered by the attending physician.Ultrasound Techsusessonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information, and images.Ultrasound Techs jobresponsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Usejudgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings
Analyzeandsynthesizesonographic information andcommunicatefindings to the appropriate physician
Ultrasound Techs assistwith the daily operations of the sonographic laboratory andparticipatein the maintenance of laboratory accreditation
