Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Throughput Registered Nurse you will assist in coordinating patient flow through the hospital and ensuring quality care across the continuum. You will provide leadership and support to the interdisciplinary team to ensure improvement opportunities are appropriately channeled to affect positive change and increase throughput. The goal is to give an unmatched patient experience and attain optimal clinical outcomes.
What You Will Do In Your Role:
- Facilitate the movement of patients through the continuum of care in a safe and efficient manner, with emphasis on patient safety and satisfaction as well as supporting the mission and objectives of the organization.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop strategies for throughput process improvement and the implementation of new processes to ensure best practices are being utilized.
- Support throughput goals as established by Senior Leadership and monitor progress in achieving these goals by utilizing a variety of available tracking reports and other tools as available.
- Utilize and model sound judgment and critical thinking skills in decision-making and has the ability to effectively prioritize and resolve issues.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Two years clinical nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
