Job Description

Reporting to the Director Category Management, this is a key role within the Sales organization with responsibility for driving thought leadership and supporting Primo Brands sales initiatives at key strategic customers. This customer-facing role will be responsible for driving influence with key customers by partnering on category line reviews, identifying category growth opportunities and providing tailored recommendations. With a strong foundation in analytics and insights, this individual will translate data into meaningful and actionable insights that drive brand and category growth.


Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
• Develop trusting and collaborative partnerships with key decision makers at assigned customers ensuring that BTB is viewed as a go-to resource for category insights and growth opportunities, increasing breadth and depth of influence.
• Actively lead and participate in preparation of line reviews and ongoing customer meetings, JBP and Top to Top meetings, leveraging data and insight into compelling sales stories
• Responsible for development and delivery of compelling sales stories and visually engaging customer-specific presentations in support of BTB key strategies and category growth opportunities
• Proactively identify opportunities for growth for BTB and the category with assigned customers
• Leverage customer-specific and marketplace data to provide strategic and tactical recommendations on ways to drive BTB and overall category performance, engaging customers on opportunities to drive share
• Leverage customer-specific data to lead the identification of granular and tailored insights to optimize assortment, shelf, promotions and pricing in support of BTB and customer growth strategy
• Lead customer analysis, be the subject matter expert on customer-specific data sources
• Manage ongoing reporting and ad hoc analysis needs for the team to include weekly performance reporting and new item tracking
• Work effectively with cross-functional partners including the Channel Strategy team, Account Management and Marketing teams. Proactively share insight as appropriate across the team and ensure appropriate alignment between internal and customer goals

Qualifications

Key qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Years of experience: 5+ CPG; 3+ years of Category Management experience strongly preferred
• Experience with customer loyalty databases (Technomic, Datassential) preferred
• Experience with leveraging Syndicated Data sources such as Circana scan and panel data
• Analytical mindset with the ability to draw meaningful insight from data and translate it to action
• Able to synthesize data from a variety of sources
• Self-motivated and team oriented with the ability to work independently
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional Excel & PowerPoint skills

Pay Range: $78,668.00 - $90,071.00. This role is eligible for a 15% annual bonus.
