Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Manages the day-to-day operations of neuro-endovascular services at the hospital. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, monitoring staff performance, providing staff education, and implementing and directing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities for the department. Participates in department budget preparation and management. Acts as a liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a program in Radiology Technology, Interventional Radiology, Nursing or Cardiovascular Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A Minimum of one-year previous supervisor experience and 5 years of technical experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT, RN, RCIS, CV, or VI.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Certified. Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
