Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Inpatient and Outpatient Oncology. Required Biotherapy Skills/Experience: Recognize/manage side effects. Required Chemotherapy Skills/Experience: Administration of chemotherapy, Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy, Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, Management/disposal cytotoxic spills, Monitor chemotherapy, Oral Administration of chemotherapy, Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values. Required IV Therapy/Infusion Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Administration of coagulation factors, Antifungals, Antivirals, Blood/Blood product administration, Care and management of ports, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Infusion pump management, Intravenous hydration/multivitamins, PICC line care, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience: Antiemetic, Antitumor, Antibiotic, Corticosteroids, Neupogen, Hormone Therapy. Required Oncologic Emergency Skills/Experience: Anaphylaxis, Extravasation injury. Required Pain Management Skills/Experience: IV push narcotic agents, Medication tolerance/dependence assessment, Transdermal patches. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Foley catheter insertion/management, Neutropenic precautions, Phlebotomy skills. Required Psychosocial Care: Patient/Family education and support. Required Symptom management Skills/Experience: Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status. Previous charge experience is preferred. Epic experience required.
