What you’ll be doing
- Serve as a point of contact between HNNR programs and the community, potential new participants, families, and referral sources to facilitate admissions.
- Work with referrals and referral sources to explain HNNR programs and admission criteria.
- Complete pre-admissions screenings and write Plan of Care for submission to the funding source. Serve as the point of contact for funders that wish to discuss the plan of care with the program Medical Director, Nursing Supervisor or similar role.
- Determine appropriateness for HNNR services for potential patients and make recommendations for or against admission according to established timeline.
- Develop and execute sales action plan, reporting sales activity and resulting success in CRM. Call on potential referral sources through cold calls, phone and electronic work, luncheons, in-services or other approaches to hospitals, physicians, case managers, payers, or other identified stakeholders to generate referrals.
- Attend pertinent meetings and conferences to promote HNNR services. These may require travel outside of target region and may occur outside the hours of a standard workday.
- Regularly coordinate with department leader on communication strategy, events, collateral needs, including participate in content development.
Anticipated Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, standard business hours with flexibility to accommodate travel and networking commitments.
Job Requirements
- RN degree required.
- Five years or more experience in clinical services, preferable neuro rehabilitation. Clinical services.
- This position requires local, regional, and occasional national travel, which may extend beyond the designated target region and standard business hours.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate in both verbal and written formats to articulate the services available and actively support the mission of the corporation.
