Diesel Fleet Mechanic – | College Point, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $33/hr - $34.50/hr
Schedule:Monday - Saturday ( Shifts are assigned based on seniority, Can expect to start on 2nd or 3rd shift )
Overview:
Join our team as a Diesel Fleet Mechanic performing electrical diagnostics to trouble shoot and identify issues, along with routine maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations alignments and check fluid levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates will need to have experience working on diesel engines, brake systems, transmission, steering, lighting systems, etc.
- Shift are assigned based on seniority.
- The plant operates Mon - Sat so most likely will work on Saturdays.
- Starting rate is $33/hr - $34.50/hr with OT after 40 hours
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working on diesel engines/equipment.
- Looking for candidates with flexible ability to cover 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
