What You Will Do:
Our Industrial Refrigeration team is hiring a Software Engineer in Waynesboro, PA. Join us and join a team that embraces a diverse culture dedicated to helping you learn and develop through extensive training programs, led by our team of talented, tenured and charismatic engineers. We will have you working with PLC controllers like Opto22 and Allen Bradley and HMI Programs like Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk ME and FactoryTalk SE; making this a great opportunity to dive into various software to help broaden your experience. How You Will Do It:
This position is responsible for preparing PLC hardware, software, and field start-up of custom refrigeration computer control systems. Specific duties include:
Creates/Modifies software and tests on simulation stations to ensure software matches hardware.
Assists in the design of control panels.
Provides custom manuals.
Coordinates refrigeration input/output requirements with control systems, as per drawings.
Travelto jobsite and assists customer with start-ups. (30-35% travel).
Trains and educates customers.
Supports/troubleshootsexisting jobs.
What We Look For:
Four-year degree preferred. Associate degree (E.E or E.E.T.) or equivalent from an accredited college, technical school; or related experience and/or training will be considered.
Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Ideal candidate will possess working knowledge in PLC’s (A-B/Opto22), PC’s, Windows OS, electrical controls, and HMI programming(Wonderware//FactoryTalk/Ignition).
