A successful Manufacturing Engineer will impact the business by:
- Managingsmall to large scale projects to achieve timely improvements to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) metrics.
- Drivefacility’s lean culture by supporting business process improvements through Continuous Improvement events.
- Assessand eliminatesafetyrisksin the manufacturing environment and drive improvements to ergonomicsthroughout the production process.
- Establish production run rates, balance standard work, create smooth flow of material and finishedproduct.
- Improve product qualityby building quality control and mistake-proofing into the manufacturing process.
- Drive cost reduction through improved labor efficiency, improved material utilization, reduced defect rates
- Implement product changes through ECO process and support new product launches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree inManufacturingEngineeringor Related Field
- 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, primarily Excel, Project, Outlook; & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Environment
- Primarily in a Manufacturing facility with split focus between an office environment and production floor.
