To be eligible for Skills for Chicagoland’s Future’s services, candidates must reside in Chicagoland (Cook, Lake, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, DuPage, or Will County in Illinois), and be either unemployed or underemployed, defined as working fewer than 32 hours per week or outside their field.

Job Highlights
- Assists with the admission, transfer and discharge of the patient
- Takes and records temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, height, and blood pressure
- Performs all other standard procedures based on each patient’s needs before they speak with the nurse or doctor
- Makes patient rounds and anticipates their needs

Candidate Profile
- CNA Certification or currently enrolled in school of nursing and successfully completed basic clinical rotations
- CPR – Basic Life Support recognition by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 90% correct on annual mandatory Health and Safety Training quizzes
