Is a Chicago-based nonprofit that removes barriers to employment by eliminating biases that disqualify candidates unnecessarily. Working with local and global companies, Skills brings opportunities to neighborhoods and municipalities throughout the Chicagoland area.
To be eligible for Skills for Chicagoland’s Future’s services, candidates must reside in Chicagoland (Cook, Lake, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, DuPage, or Will County in Illinois), and be either unemployed or underemployed, defined as working fewer than 32 hours per week or outside their field.

Job Highlights
- Assists customers from the pharmacy while under the supervision of a pharmacist and pharmacy manager
- Counts pills, seals prescriptions, and works with patient insurance plans
- Develops relationships with customers and patients to support any of their questions about over-the-counter or prescribed medication
- Supports stocking of pharmacy and healthcare items

Pay Rate
$18.00 - $21.50 per hour
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a retail or pharmacy setting
- Have completed and passed the PTCB or ExCPT; your pharmacy technician license and certification are up-to-date and in compliance with all Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) requirements
- Weekend and evening availability highly preferred
