Other Knowledge/Skills: Responsibilities
Manages daily nursing activities of staff members in various Patient Contact Center teams.
Competent with all essential job functions of direct reports.
Recommends and initiates various personnel actions including, but not limited to: hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and promotions.
Make work assignments, review and edit work of direct reports.
Ensure staff member’s training is to minimum competency levels to perform all required job tasks.
Resolves work related issues, or assists employees in solving work related issues. Confers with Human Resources, experts and other leaders to resolve more complex situations.
Participates in development, planning and monitoring of fiscal budget(s).
Monitors and completes all edits within time keeping system for direct reports.
Assists in development and review of department policies, procedures, standing orders, and competencies.
Collects, reviews, and prepares data for leadership, using various Carle and other software systems.
Supervision of all direct reports; providing support to all nursing roles under Patient Clinical Services. Participation in first level leadership call rotations in accordance with department policies. Works closely with key partners in reviewing/updating/developing workflow processes and policies specific to safety in medication management. Reviews and ensures that the Medication Renewal Center stays up to date with best practices and guidelines to safely manage medications. Maintains working knowledge of prior-authorizations and insurance processes related to medication prior-authorizations. Assist with NEO for others within the Patient Contact Center associated with nursing roles and understanding of the core applications used. Performs regular quality assurance and coaching of daily work performed by direct reports. Develops, leads, and maintains enhancement projects related to individual teams and division. Works in coordination with key partners to ensure operational stability and patient safety with the division. Provides direct team support as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $39.13per hour - $67.3per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
