Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Manages the day-to-day operations of various areas of Imaging to include off-site locations of the hospital. Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, monitoring staff performance, providing staff education, and implementing and directing Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities for the department. Participates in department budget preparation and management. Acts as a liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Cardiovascular Sonography.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A minimum of one-year previous supervisory experience and five years of technical experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, NMTCB, or CCI.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Certified through AHA
Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
