Role Overview:
Pediatric Renal and Transplant Dietitian
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Dietitian to assist in management of pediatric patients with end stage renal disease at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, a 195 acute care bed hospital located in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Incentives: Reimbursement of Academy Dues, CDR and licensure What You'll Do:
  • Will help care and assess for children with acute and chronic renal failure including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and pre and post kidney transplant care.
  • Be responsible for developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans for patients with end stage renal disease.
  • Manage the nutritional assessment and care of patients with end stage renal disease and patients on Dialysis treatment.
  • Provide nutrition guidance and counseling to patients with end stage renal disease through the pre- and post-transplant process.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
