The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As the Engineering Document Coordinator within the Global Engineering, Technology, and Facilities organization of Solventum, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Seeking a detail oriented and organized individual to manage and maintain documentation processes
  • Advance the Design Control Process as needed to support Solventum’s businesses while maintaining compliance
  • Organize and maintain engineering documents including drawings, specifications, reports, and manuals.
  • Manage and track version control/drawings numbers as well as archival process.
  • Ensure documentation meets both company/industry standards and regulations.
  • Audit and verify document accuracy/completeness
  • Manage access control process to distribute/retrieve documentation
  • Provide technical support with document formatting, templates, and software systems (SharePoint, PLM, CAD, SAP, and related systems).
  • Own knowledge management system/SharePoint site where communities of practice and tools reside.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering, design, business administration, or related field.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED AND three (3) years of combined experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Combination Product experience with a Design control focus in document management systems (SharePoint, PLM, Documentum, SAP) in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience in document control, design documentation, or a related field
  • Proficiency in document management systems (PLM, SharePoint, Documentum, SAP) and/or related design software
  • Strong attention to detail including organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as part of a cross functional team
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to design documentation

Work location:

  • Maplewood (Hybrid) minimum 2 days a week

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic and/or international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $72,681 - $88,832, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
