Edward Jones is looking for an Engineer III to join our Technology Learning team. In this role, you will utilize your technical leadership by leveraging your expertise in Java Development and Oracle Database Interaction to deliver high quality software solutions.
Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of:
- Design, Develop, and Maintain software applications: Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Java and integrate with Oracle databases.
- System Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and ensure scalability and maintainability of applications.
- Code Quality and Reviews: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentor junior engineers, particular in the structure and function of the new HCM application.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Performance tuning: Optimize application and database performance to meet SLAs and user expectations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Managers, and QA teams to deliver solutions that align with organization goals.
