Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) offers the highest quality veterinary referral and emergency medicine. We have two locations, both in Portland, Maine. Our specialties include surgery, anesthesiology, internal medicine, oncology, neurology, dermatology, emergency critical care, and cardiology. Emergency veterinary services are available 24/7/365. CT and MRI on site.
Our emergency department need your help: Part-time or per diem help from licensed or credentialed veterinary technicians or unlicensed veterinary technician/experienced assistant to help our busy emergency service. Work one or two days a week, or on a per diem basis, helping fill shifts when you are able. Day and evening shifts are available. We offer generous shift differentials for evening, weekend and overnight hours.

- Veterinary Technician License or Certification
- Unlicensed Technician or Experienced Assistant with 2+ years experience
