Special Procedures/Unit Details: 3B is a Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility which is post-acute care. Rehab patients have been discharged from their acute stay and admitted to Rehab. These patients still have some medical needs to require nursing and physician care and the unit operates essentially as a Med-Surg unit. Patients receive 3-4hrs of therapy per day. PT/OT/Speech Therapy follow all patients and nursing cares are coordinated with therapy schedules.
Special Equipment:
Hoyer/total lift, sit-to-stand, wheelchairs, variety of walkers and canes, braces/splints (i.e. AFO, Omo or Giv-Mor sling, etc.)
