Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 15 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise in Docker Container Mockito GITHUB Docker Hub and other related technologies. This role involves designing and implementing robust solutions ensuring seamless integration and optimizing performance. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure technology solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of applications using Docker Container Mockito and GITHUB.
- Provide expertise in Docker Hub Container Registry and API Gateway to ensure efficient application management.
- Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms to secure applications.
- Utilize Netflix Hystrix and Eureka for fault tolerance and service discovery.
- Apply Apache Log4J for effective logging and monitoring of applications.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Cloud and Spring Boot.
- Manage Docker Administration tasks to ensure smooth container operations.
- Implement JSON Web Token for secure communication between services.
- Utilize Redis for caching and improving application performance.
- Use Gradle for build automation and dependency management.
- Implement EHCache for efficient caching solutions.
- Integrate various systems using Spring Integration.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java JSON Spring MVC and Spring Core.
- Design and implement REST APIs and SOAP services.
- Utilize Junit for unit testing and ensuring code quality.
- Apply Spring Framework best practices for application development.
- Use Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA for efficient development and debugging.
- Manage project dependencies and build processes using Maven.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure that all solutions align with the companys goals and contribute to its success.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Docker Container Mockito GITHUB Docker Hub and Container Registry.
- Demonstrate expertise in API Gateway Authentication & Authorization Netflix Hystrix and Eureka.
- Have a strong understanding of Apache Log4J Spring Cloud and Spring Boot.
- Show proficiency in Docker Administration JSON Web Token Redis and Gradle.
- Experience with EHCache Spring Integration Java JSON and Spring MVC is required.
- Proficiency in Spring Core Rest API Junit Spring Framework and SOAP is essential.
- Familiarity with Eclipse IntelliJ IDEA and Maven is necessary.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 to $150,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
