Job Summary and Qualifications
To collaborate as a Clinical Nutrition leader of the corporate FANS team to provide nutrition guidance in enterprise projects and to support facility operations. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in FANS standardization and utilization, clinical nutrition, technology utilization, patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and operations. This position is responsible for building strategic alliances with HCA Corporate, Division, and Hospital Executive Staff as it relates to successfully executing FANS processes. The primary focus is to manage the utilization of the FANS technology software for patient food services.
What you will do in this role:
- Serves on the Division Core Team for FANS Software Infrastructure development, execution, and support
- Manages platform for FANS Software System
- Works directly with FANS Business Specialists to ensure FANS software system is aligned with division and enterprise goals and initiatives
- Merges Division data to facilities for application
- Assists in training super users and end users, as needed in using software systems
- Responsible for item maintenance as well as recipe and menu collaboration
- Analyzes and reinforces contract compliance to ensure maximum savings
- Works with contracted suppliers to implement product and process improvements
- Supports Clinical Nutrition initiatives
- Acts as a Clinical Nutrition resource and point of contact
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, required
- Master’s Degree in Nutrition or a closely related field, preferred
- Minimum of three years supervisory/management experience, required
- Minimum of five years of hospital clinical nutrition experience, required
- Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration, required
