Are you a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for animal care Pieper Veterinary in Middletown, CT is searching for a kind, compassionate, and detail-oriented Client Care Coordinator (CCC) to support our Internal Medicine department. The client experience starts at the front desk, so we need a team that shares our goal of making the pets and people in our community healthier and happier.

About You:

We are seeking a Client Care Coordinator to provide concierge service between the client or the referring veterinarian, and the Pieper Memorial team from the moment of first contact with the hospital, throughout the patient’s stay, and after discharge. The CCC serves in all areas of communication, as an advocate for and liaison between the client and the medical team(s), to ensure clear, accurate information is relayed and delays are minimized. The CCC is also a department point person for the front desk to ensure a quick and efficient flow of communication between incoming calls and client’s questions.

Anticipated Schedule:
This is a full-time, first-shift role. Some weekends and holidays may be required.
Pay:
$16.50 - $24.00/ hour dependent on experience and education

Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a veterinary setting, is preferred.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, and staff.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm, friendly, and empathetic approach to clients and their pets.
- Ability to handle challenging client situations with tact, patience, and understanding.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Flexibility to assist with other duties as needed and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially in high-stress or emotional situations.
- Willingness to continue learning and stay updated on best practices in client service and veterinary care.
