Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Therapy,The Clinical Coordinator of Respiratory is responsible for working collaboratively with the health care team to ensure that both practice and professional standards are identified and maintained in the delivery of patient care, and that determined patient outcomes are achieved. The Coordinator will promote excellence in patient care, while supporting and facilitating professional growth and development, and upholding standards of professionalism. Coordinate staff and student clinical training needs; develop educational materials; conduct training sessions and orientation with staff; and evaluate the effectiveness of the training in support of Respiratory Care objectives in the appropriate areas of care. Maintain records of performance and competence
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT / RCP)
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Bachelors Degree
