JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Retail Channel Management will be responsible for managing and developing Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques’ global sales through various retail distribution channels including marketplace and wholesale. This role involves identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships and oversight with key retail partners and managing agencies/vendors to help execute and optimize. Additional initiative support may include partnership negotiations and marketing responsibilities within or to complement those channels.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required
•4-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management, Fashion or Home Merchandising or other relevant field.
•6 or more years of relevant professional experience in merchandising, marketing, retail, consulting, or a related field demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.
•Strong project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to coordinate across multi-functional project teams to drive concrete results and actions.
•Strong negotiation skills, including a demonstrated ability to understand and advocate for unique brand needs.
•Experience in ecommerce with demonstrable results in generating customer engagement and sales.
Education and Experience Preferred
•Experience with PowerPoint, and Excel.
•Experience managing brand presence on external retail channels i.e., Amazon.
•Experience navigating wholesale and/or licensing deals.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
•Support development and maintenance of a compelling channel strategy to benefit brands and achieve revenue growth.
•Oversee brand presence on external retail channels.
•Produce regular reporting and derived insights on performance by channel, identifying actionable insights for growth.
•Evaluate and expand channels ensuring fit between customer, channel, and retail brand.
•Negotiate with external stakeholders.
•Ensure implementation of programs to continue to successfully position the brand and achieve channel growth goals.
•Maintain strong knowledge of target customer and bring the latest channel insights and innovations into the organization to inform plans.
•Create and manage complex project plans to track progress on planned initiatives.
•Develops and sustains relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise.
The salary range for this position is $108,300 to $154,200 annually.
