Are you ready to bring the energy, style, and vibes of the '90s to life SeaWorld San Diego is seeking 90’s Style Break Dancers to join the Seven Seas Festival! If you’ve got the moves, the grooves, and the charisma to wow a crowd, we want to see YOU at our upcoming auditions!
Seven Seas Break Dancer Auditions
- When: Thursday, February 6th, 12 PM - 4 PM
- Where:Hubbs Research Institute
- 2595 Ingraham St, San Diego, CA 92109
What to Bring:
- A headshot and resume
- Comfortable clothes to dance in
What You’ll Do:
Capture the childlike enthusiasm and energy of the Seven Seas Festival
Perform as a dancer, costume character, or character escort in parades, stage shows, and special events
Bring joy and excitement to guests of all ages, in and out of the park
Collaborate with our creative team, execute show choreography, and embody the spirit of the festival
Assist with costume care and maintenance when needed
Audition requirements may include dance, movement, script memorization, role playing, comedic improvisation, and miming as necessary.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Outgoing personality with animated charisma
Ability to perform in a full costume and maintain character integrity
Strong dance or performance background (breakdancing experience preferred!)
Demonstrated strong costume and escorting skills
Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
Open to feedback, flexible with scheduling, and ready to shine rain or shine! Willingness to participate in regular internal performance assessments
Previous costume character and/or dance experience preferred
Previous guest experience in a high-volume capacity preferred
Previous experience in the fields of dance, theater, athletics, or other performance arts preferred.

Compensation: 17.50 - 25.00 USD Hourly based on role assigned.
