SeaWorld San Diego is looking for talented Seasonal Ukulele Musicians, Singers, and DJ Host Performers to bring the rhythm and energy to our Seven Seas Festival! If you’ve got the musical skills, stage presence, and the charisma to entertain, we want to see YOU at our upcoming auditions!
Seven Seas Festival Auditions
Date: Tuesday, February 11th
Location: Hubbs Research Institute
Address: 2595 Ingraham St, San Diego, CA 92109
Audition Times:
11 AM – 1 PM: Ukulele Musicians / Singers
2 PM – 4 PM: DJ Host Performers
Check in begins 30 minutes before each audition time
What to Bring:
A headshot and resume
Your instrument (for musicians)
A prepared performance piece
Comfortable attire to perform in
What You’ll Do:
Capture the childlike enthusiasm and energy of the Seven Seas Festival
Perform as a musician, singer, or DJ host in parades, stage shows, and special events.
Bring joy and excitement to guests of all ages, in and out of the park
Collaborate with our creative team, execute show choreography, and embody the spirit of the festival
Assist with costume care and maintenance when needed
Audition requirements may include dance, movement, script memorization, role playing, comedic improvisation, and miming as necessary.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Outgoing personality with animated charisma
Ability to perform in a full costume and maintain character integrity
Strong musical or performance background (ukulele, singing, or DJ hosting experience preferred!).
Demonstrated strong costume and escorting skills
Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent
Open to feedback, flexible with scheduling, and ready to shine rain or shine! Willingness to participate in regular internal performance assessments
Previous live performance and/or entertainment hosting experience preferred.
Previous guest experience in a high-volume capacity preferred
Previous experience in the fields of theater, athletics, or other performance arts preferred.

Compensation: 17.50 - 25.00 USD Hourly based on role assigned.
