Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 12 weeks

Requirements:

  • GA License
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include all protentional Med Surg diagnoses; Skills and Knowledge required include Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Nasal Cannula, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Chest Tubes, Starting IVs, PICC Line Management, Blood Product Administration, Feeding Tube Care and Management
  • BLS

  • Ratio / Census: 1:6; 32 Rooms with average daily census of 29
  • Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1
Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29
Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
