What you will do
This position is responsible for being a part of a team that Provides Excellent Customer Service while engaging with walk-In customers, taking customer orders over the phone or through email, looking up parts and supplies and quoting/invoicing orders. At times this position is responsible for assisting with other duties such as warranty support, shipping/receiving or related warehouse duties.
How you will do it
- Communicate daily with customers via e-mail, phone & face-to-face interaction.
- Research and resolve customer issues by providing unique solutions as well as providing customer assistance in locating and identifying replacement parts.
- Support customers and the Great Lakes Region by entering and organizing warranty documentation.
- Enter customer orders promptly with high accuracy.
- Promote and support sales promotions
- Follow-up with warranty department to ensure timely processing of warranty claims.
- Collaborate with regional sales team to deliver premier customer service to dealers.
- Provide same day responses to scheduled dates and backorder status of product.
- Research and process credit and return requests.
- Performs daily maintenance to customer orders to ensure timely delivery based on customer demand.
- Work closely with other vital departments such as credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, technical service, marketing, etc.
- Assist in warehouse when needed for shipping & receiving when volume is high.
- Other tasks may be assigned by management.

Required Qualification:
- High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
- Able to Multi-task effectively while prioritizing daily workflow
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Regular Attendance & Punctuality are vital to succeed.
- Be willing to become forklift certified.
Preferred Skills:
- 5+ years in customer service.
- HVAC knowledge a plus.
- Forklift experience a plus (Will Train)
