Traveling Human Resources Manager to join our team and provide vital HR support to our field operations.
Job Summary The
Traveling Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting HR functions across multiple facilities. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, policies, payroll, benefits administration, and other HR initiatives while working closely with leadership teams to drive operational success.
Key Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws through facility visits and HR audits.
- Assist HR managers at each facility with recruitment, applicant tracking, and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Provide training on HR best practices, including performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Serve as a resource for HR/payroll systems and assist in troubleshooting system-related issues.
- Conduct employee and management training on customer service, leadership development, and conflict resolution.
- Support the corporate HR team with personnel file maintenance and corporate office onboarding.
- Attend mock surveys and ensure AHCA audit compliance at the facility level.
- Offer backup support to HR managers and regional teams as needed.
Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, or Labor Relations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) and Time & Attendance systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and support HR professionals across multiple locations.
- Must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.
- Position requires 100% travel with work based out of a home office (subject to Avante's Telecommuting Policy).
- PHR certification preferred.
