The APRN will be responsible for :- Providing front-line care and coordination for complex, critically ill patients in the MICU, including assessment, diagnosis, pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, bedside procedures, and family-centered care.
- Collaborating and consulting with acute care providers and interdisciplinary team members on all assigned inpatients during daily rounds. Managing assigned patients throughout the course of the day.
- Participating in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitating patient/family and multidisciplinary team education.
To qualify, you must have:- A minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU RN experience.
- 1-2 years of Pediatric acute care NP experience is preferred; new graduate NPs will also be considered.
- Certified Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (FNP or PNP).
- PALS preferred
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts, and a maximum of every third weekend.
