ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux System Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
Join ManTech’s mission-focused national security team delivering enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce. This role will support the Intelligence Community’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) platform in Texas. This role supports infrastructure associated with Data Center & Computing Services, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver services to ManTech’s customers in the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.
Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementation of operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ten (10) years or more experience as a Linux Systems Administrator supporting the Intelligence Community in enterprise infrastructure-related programs.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; additional five years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fifteen (15) years or more experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.
Understanding networking components is desired.
