- Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.
Responsibilities- RN in-house traveler is established to enhance the quality of patient care by providing qualified employees to staff the nursing units. In-house travelers will maintain flexibility and availability to supplement hospital-staffing needs.
- In-house travelers are required to comply with all HHS/HMC policies, procedures, and patient care standards. In-house travelers acknowledge that this is a temporary employment assignment and are not eligible for benefits except those mandated by law.
- Sign on bonuses or referral bonuses do not apply to the In-house traveler program.
- The in-house traveler agrees to commit up to a 12 consecutive week assignment of scheduled minimum of 36 hours per week or 72 hours per pay period.
- The in-house traveler agrees to accept unit, location, and shift assignment by Hillcrest Medical Center and understands that shift, location, and unit assignment may change during the assignment period.
- Hours are not guaranteed.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Must possess a current Oklahoma licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Must obtain and maintain a current certification in CPR.
- ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- One year of experience as an RN in the area of application.
In-House Travelers acknowledge that this is a temporary employment assignment and are not eligible for benefits except those mandated by law. The In-House Traveler is ineligible for all differentials including critical staffing premiums.
