Responsibilities - Service Manager:

  • Oversee the overall productivity and performance of the Service Department, providing direct support to Service Advisors and Auto Technicians.
  • Hire and manage technicians, service advisors, and support staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Drive problem-solving initiatives and ensure service and sales objectives are consistently met.
  • Supervise service department personnel, enforcing policies and procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance.
  • Implement and oversee processes to evaluate staff performance, optimize workflow, and enhance customer communication.
  • Develop and manage work schedules while tracking Service Technicians' productivity and performance.
  • Lead employee training and development programs to foster continuous growth and technical expertise.
  • Maintain a safe, well-equipped work environment, ensuring proper maintenance and repair of all service equipment.



Qualifications/Requirements - Service Manager:

  • Dealership and Supervisory experience in a Service Manager position
  • We will also consider Service Technicians, Service Advisors, and Assistant Service Managers with 5+ years of experience
  • Mazda experience is a plus!
  • Outstanding customer service and customer retention skills
  • Team building and development ability, motivational and leadership skills
  • Understanding of Service Department financial analysis
