AVP Global Client Partner Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Client relationship management and business development: Manage client relationships, Drive profitable growth, own the opportunity management cycle: Proactive outreach, Opportunity identification, develop custom solutions, Negotiate and Close.
Client delivery assurance: Collaborate with all delivery stakeholders involved to ensure fulfilment of all commitments to the client
Account planning and governance: create the account strategies to meet revenue, margin and TCV targets, develop relationships required, opportunities to be pursued, price decisions, etc.
Monitoring industry trends and developments so that clients can receive timely information about changes in their industries. Be responsible for execution and customer satisfaction in all the revenue portfolios within the accounts. Shape the thought leadership agenda.
Mandatory Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience
•15+ years of IT industry experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
•Significant business development and delivery management experience
•Experience in the HealthCare industry/vertical
•Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level client contacts
•Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
•Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience
•Strong executive presence and gravitas
•Minimum BS Degree.
Preferred Capabilities/Skills/Years of Experience
•Knowledge of Healthcare Payer specific go-to-market solutions
•Knowledge on the Cognizant products including various Trizetto product suites
•Experience in managing large multi-location delivery/consulting teams
•Strong track record as a Client Partner working in a challenging client environments.
•Strategic thinking and the confidence and ability to plan ahead and stay the course
•Must be able to navigate a large organization, work in a multi-dimensional matrix and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence
•Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills are essential.
