Role Overview:
Sodexo Corporate Servicesis seeking aCatering Manager for our client in Los Angeles, California.The position will manage the day-to-day functions of catering operations, which requires the candidate to showcase their expertise to lead, organize and execute upscale dining experiences for our high-profile clientele.
ThisCatering Manager willcreate elegant and sophisticated catering experiences that exceed culinary and service expectations while enhancing client program objectives. This position is responsible for the organization and execution of all catered events, management of a diverse group of employees, and will work closely with the account's talented Executive Chef. The best qualified candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in casual, high volume, fine dining, and banquet management. This candidate must be extremely organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and deep understanding of the technical delivery aspect of catering.
What You'll Do:
- Identify and exceed client needs and expectations
- Have experience with the Everyday POS system
- Ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met
- Coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
- Maintain and improve service levels resulting in increased customer satisfaction
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client and customer requests

Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
