Average Daily Census: 21. 1:5 ratios for days, nights, and weekends.

Open to accommodating block schedule Cannot contract to block scheduling but typically can schedule colleagues 3 in a row. Discuss schedule requests with manager.

Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.
Special Requirements: Med/Surg experience required. Preferred Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams. Preferred Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Angiogram, Post MI. Preferred Endocrine /Metabolic Case Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols. Preferred Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Preferred Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure. Preferred IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Preferred Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA. Preferred Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery. Ortho trauma experience preferred. Surgical drain experience preferred. Preferred Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank. Preferred Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Previous charge experience preferred. Cerner experience preferred. Level I Trauma experience preferred.
