HOW A FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Work with a software development team to provide enterprise system support.
- Provide software development proficiency in one or more of the following areas: Java Front/Back-end application integration, integrating Java Enterprise Services on an AWS platform.
- Be responsible for the server-side web application logic, developing REST web services, and enriching the user interface.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: BS in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Experience: 8+ years
- Required Technical Skills:
- Develop and Implement strategic, business value improvements to large scale Java products
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and discovery to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
- Design, develop and test Java based solutions using common standards and frameworks such as JAXB, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JPA, JavaEE, Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
- Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
- Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience in developing applications using Java platforms
- Experience using Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, or equivalent J2EE framework software
- Proficiency and experience with JQuery, Ajax, JSON, CSS, HTML
- Excellent skills in DB Schema design and familiarity with RDBMS products (Oracle, MySQL, PostGres)
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and hands on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
- Proficiency developing new and/or enhancing REST web services
- Desired Skills:
- Ability to conduct UI tests and optimize performance as required
- Documented experience with cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Azure)
- Certifications Java
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: Chantilly, VA - On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
