Manpower Engineering is partnering with a manufacturing leader in Tomah, WI for a Senior Process Engineer – Lamination.

Title: Senior Process Engineer – Lamination
Location: Tomah, Wisconsin (100% onsite with minimal travel – domestic and international) *RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE*

Job Summary
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will support a brand new production line. General functions: monitor & interpret data outputs from processes, optimize &improve existing processes, ensure process quality. You will support production by ensuringequipment is properly maintained, guiding troubleshooting efforts, and leading processimprovement initiatives.Individuals in this role are expected to serve as mentors to junior engineers and collaborate withother cross-functional teams in the organization to achieve production goals.

Essential Functions Include:
• Assist in the installation of novel glass lamination and supporting systems
• Learn to operate, maintain, and optimize glass lamination equipment necessary to produce
smart window products.
• Work alongside maintenance technicians to troubleshoot faulty equipment.
• Work cross functionally with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to address product
quality issues.
• Conduct several tolerance analyses for the cell assembly process to ensure product
specifications are met
• Assist in determining process control limits for lamination equipment.
• Assist in validation of production line through IQ, OQ, PQ, PPQ processes
• Analyze existing processes and suggest equipment modifications to increase machine
efficiency, reduce downtime, and reduce changeover time.
• Work closely with Quality Management Software (QMS) to track all manufacturing
procedure updates, process deviations and update PFMEA as necessary.
• Ensures consistent quality by monitoring and adjusting parameters related to the
application of interlayers between glass sheets during the lamination stage.
• Understands best safety practices for working with complex glass processing tools.
• Handle materials as needed. This requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Position requires onsite presence with standard business week working hours.
• Travel up to 10% to internal production facilities and partners (domestic & international).


Desired Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum Qualifications:
o Engineering Training
4 Year Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial, Electrical , Chemical etc.)
5+ Years of Engineering Experience in a manufacturing setting
o Experience operating large glass processing equipment.
o Strong understanding of glass manufacturing processes, including lamination
techniques and the properties of different interlayer materials.
o Ability to use software required for Preventive Maintenance and Minitab statistical
analysis.
o High volume manufacturing experience in either smart window, flat panel display,
semi-conductor or photo-voltaic products.
o Ability to communicate complicated concepts and draft technical reports when
needed.

Desired Qualifications:
o M.S. (Mechanical Eng / Manufacturing Eng. / Electrical Eng. / Industrial Eng.)
o Experience with PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
o Statistics experience
o LSS green belt / black belt
