We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, CEO Office, to further CEO Office initiatives and support the overall Executive Office strategy. This individual will report to the Head of the CEO Office. This position is in New York, NY and requires you to be in the office 5 days a week.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Collaborate with client teams and other internal stakeholders to drive the CEO engagement strategy forward, while amplifying firmwide strategic initiatives. You must be able to develop trusting relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Compose and execute daily CEO correspondence, help arrange complex and detailed travel itineraries and agendas, and prepare documents for travel, media appearances, and more.
- Effectively manage the CEO’s schedule in partnership with his Executive Assistant; this includes collecting and/or developing briefings and materials for key meetings. You must ensure any accountable individuals are delivering necessary information and updates to the CEO Office in a timely, complete manner.
- Support the CEO Office (and broader Executive Office team) by helping coordinate events, conducting / compiling research, and by increasing operational efficiency via AI / technology to optimize workflows.
- Stay abreast of breaking news and market events to craft a proactive and commercial outreach strategy, as needed.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree and at minimum, 3-5 years of experience in internal communications relating to executive support.
- Proven ability to exercise good judgment and emotional maturity while handling confidential matters with discretion across various situations with internal and external parties.
- Expert written and verbal communication and organizational skills, with the ability to seamlessly balance multiple priorities while keeping the highest level of stakeholder / client service and response.
- Ownership mindset, with the aptitude to execute tasks from conception to completion with excellent attention to detail; matters are handled expeditiously and proactively, with proper follow-through.
- Resourceful and collaborative team player with exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; able to provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO Office, and other teams / colleagues.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $56,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
