Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate BCBA Clinical Director to lead our clinical team and center. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of ABA programs, ensuring the highest quality of care, and managing the clinical team’s performance. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of ABA principles and a commitment to improving the lives of children and their families.
BCBA Clinical Director Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and supervision of individualized ABA programs for children with ASD.
- Ensure that all treatment plans are evidence-based and align with best practices in the field of ABA.
- Provide ongoing clinical supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and other clinical staff.
- Conduct regular client assessments and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and inspire the clinical team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and professional development of clinical staff.
- Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, company policies, and state regulations.
Client and Family Engagement:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct parent training sessions to support family involvement in the therapy process.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ABA programs through regular data analysis and review.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of services.
- Ensure that all documentation and reporting are accurate, timely, and meet regulatory standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with administrative staff to ensure efficient scheduling, billing, and compliance with insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists) involved in the care of clients.
- Represent the center at community events, conferences, and other professional gatherings.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of ABA, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and ethical guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with children with ASD and their families.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of ABA software systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
