Presbyterian is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the Pulmonary Department. The RRTprovides routine and advanced respiratory care responsibilities which include infant, pediatric and adult patient care.

Qualifications:
- BLS Required at Time of Hire
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
- Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License, Registered Respiratory Therapist plus BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
Responsibilities:
- Performs advanced airway care including intubation and extubation. Performs advanced airway care for infants, pediatric and adult patients to include intubation, extubation and tracheotomy care.
- Proficiency in the use of High Flow (infant, pediatric and adult, BPAP/CPAP, Ventilators, Bubble CPAP
- Performs electrocardiograms on infants, pediatrics, and adults in areas throughout the hospital. These areas include the Emergency department, L&D, nursery, ICU, MedSurg and in PMG
- Implements Cardiopulmonary modalities and protocols for infant, pediatric and adult patients.
- Alternate functions in the Pulmonary department (but not required) - Pulmonary Function Testing, Holter monitor placement and cardiac stress testing.
Performs departmental specific duties.
