Due to the continued rapid growth of our Electronic Security group, we are currently seeking a Systems Adminstrator to assist with day-to-day operations of our Centralized Services team.

System Administrator's satisfy customer requirements through the coordination of National Projects across all time zones. Administrators will support numerous initiatives throughout the Centralized Services business.

Essential Functions:

  • Build out and maintain network video recorder servers (NVR)
  • Responsible for frontline support to field Technicians installing and servicing video surveillance systems
  • Manage the system health of multiple video surveillance platforms
  • Quality control Checks “Test and Turn ups” for all new video installations
  • Troubleshoot/service hardware and network issues.
  • Perform monthly and other regularly scheduled maintenance for Windows updates and firmware releases
  • Use of remote desktop and other support software to connect with remote video hardware
  • Application support for multiple security software (Cross-Trained)
  • Certification for both Avigilon and Axis video systems
  • Creation of written procedures for the installation and service of video systems

Job Requirements:

  • Highly motivated
  • Problem solving methodology and proven analytical ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of software, networking and systems development
  • Multi-tasking capability; must be able to coordinate more than one project and various tasks
  • Ability to act in an autonomous role with little supervision
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • This position requires advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Outlook and MS Project (preferred, but not required), and an understanding of Securitas technology and operations.
