Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Product Sales Account Manager is to create long-term trusting relationships with our Top 100 independently owned SERVPRO Franchise operations. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and answer client queries. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Top 100 Servpro accounts and operate as the lead point of contact for your accounts
  • Develop positive relationships and handling their needs
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Care Specialists and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience.
  • Complete assigned number of outbound proactive calls pulled from the core initiators on the Proactive call calendar per zone on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis and record in SalesForce.
  • Actively engage in vendor related Professional Development through webinars, on-site training, training at convention, and Director/Trainer meetings.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports/supporting documentation relating to sales analysis as needed.
  • Assist with new projects as they relate to Product Resources function.
  • Conduct special project analysis of sales and customer reviews.
  • Develop expert product and market knowledge

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in product sales or account management.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak to communicate in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Must be able to travel to meetings or job sites to promote Product Sales Division and support our Franchisees as it relates to their specific product needs by giving powerful presentations with top notch execution.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of CRM software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a timely manner

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience above minimum requirements.
