Our client is seeking a IT Support Consultantto join their team. As a Technology Support Consultant, you role involves providing essential support to ensure the smooth and timely installation, configuration, and deployment of devices to ensure optimal performance and productivity for all end users.
Job Title: Technology Support / IT support
Contract: 1 Year
Pay: 21$/hr
Location: Topeka, KS ( Onsite - 5 Days a week)
What’s the Job
Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of Dell equipment (including laptops, desktops, and peripherals)
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure devices are properly configured according to organizational requirements and user specifications..
Perform troubleshooting of hardware/software issues during the deployment process.
Assist with data migration, ensuring files are transferred securely and accurately to the new equipment..
Provide end-user training and support during the transition to new devices..
Assist in inventory management, tracking all leased equipment provided to staff.
Ensure that all equipment is deployed in compliance with policies and security standards.
Document deployment processes and maintain accurate records of equipment issued to staff..
Qualifications:
1 Year of experience handling computer hardware, including Dell laptops and desktops.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common software applications
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Service Now Ticketing Tool experience is prefered..
Must be able to work independently and follow instructions clearly.
