Registered Nurse (RN) - Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
An Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, working with advanced technology to map and ablate abnormal heart rhythms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor patients undergoing EP studies, ablations, or device implants.
- Operate specialized equipment and maintain sterile technique during procedures.
- Administer conscious sedation and closely monitor cardiac rhythms.
- Educate patients about procedure expectations, outcomes, and follow-up care.
- Document procedural data accurately and relay critical findings to the care team.
Work Environment:
- Primarily in specialized electrophysiology labs within hospitals.
