What You'll Be Doing

  • Be involved in and aware of all aspects of the day-to-day cement terminal operations.
  • Operate and maintain terminal equipment such as track mobile or car pullers, etc. and machinery. Inspect, and load and unload materials from trucks and railcars. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment problems to minimize downtime and ensure proper operation.
  • Ensure accuracy of orders, documents, troubleshoot and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment. Performing housekeeping of the facility.
  • Assist with inventory management and record-keeping.

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
