Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from last 9 months.
• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases. Travelers will be first to float.
Must have step down experience.
This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates.
Must have acute care surgical floor experience.
ENT and/or Transplant Experience Preferred
Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed.
4E candidates will care for patients post operatively and need to have experiences taking care of patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT.
Some of these patients will be Step down care as well.
4W is our surgical transplant area and also has Step down patients and post op patients.
These patients are new transplant patients or returning transplant patients. They need close monitoring for reaction and rejection as well as infection.
Required Education:
-Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Education:
-Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program.
