Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other Saturday & Sunday, 24 hours total
• Call Requirements: No
• Float Requirements: Floating in-turn (float log), same level of care floating
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, feeding pumps, occasional chest tubes and PCA pumps, Vocera (communication device), Rovers (cell phones with Epic capabilities), Pyxis (medication dispensing system), Phillips telemetry
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience, Epic charting or similar EMR experience, Alaris IV pump experience
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: CAPD (peritoneal dialysis) experience
• Type of Patients on Unit: Observation, inpatient (common diagnoses: chest pain, stroke, CHF, CKD, COPD, failure to thrive, alcohol withdrawal with CIWA <9, sickle cell crisis, cellulitis, sepsis)
Dress Code:
• Scrub Color: Dark navy blue
• Any unacceptable attire: facial piercings (please remove/cover before shift), hoodies, artificial nails in clinical areas
Ekg test needed upon submission
Maximum days off: 5 days
