Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

2+ years acute care in Adult Med/Surg and/or Hematology/Oncology required

Oncology experience required

Chemotherapy experience strongly preferred but not required

Strong Telemetry Skills- must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Must be able to pass tele test on Day 1 with 85% or better.

Dept Details: Acute Medical Surgical specializing in Hematology/ Oncology and Sickle Cell disease.

Specialized therapies include administration and monitoring of inpatient chemo/immunotherapy, CAR-T, Stem Cell transplant, Gene Therapy, and new and emerging clinical trials.

Patient Ratio: Generally, 1/4 or 1/3, will range based on acuity.
